A heartfelt tribute to sponsors, supporters, and players as the 2ndXV closes a chapter and eagerly anticipates the next.

After Saturday's game against Highland 2ndXV, it was a close, exciting and physical game but unfortunately the result went the way of the hosts.

Saturday's fixture brings a close to the 2ndXV's 23/24 season. It has been a long season but it has been a very positive season, finishing top of our conference and making the playoffs against the Caledonian North teams.

We would just like to thank all of the sponsors who sponsored the players this season and Angus Alchemy for sponsorship of our man of the match.

We would also like to thank all of the supporters that came down to support the team over the season, home and away. Thank you to Angus Physiotherapy for providing their staff to home and away games to make sure our players were provided with medical expertise.

We are looking forward to the 24/25 season, it will be an exciting campaign as we will have the up and coming young players from U18's who took part and stood out in our 6 competitive and physical, playoff games. We have players retiring and moving onto other rugby ventures, we wish them all the best of luck but don't be shy always we will always welcome your support on the side lines. Long standing team Manager Keith Richiardi is stepping down but will be around with camera in hand again on match days. Finally we will also have a new coaching team with head coach Ross Hutton returning with a new assistant coach.

Thank you for all your support this season and we are looking forward to pre season and what the 24/25 league season will bring.
