Dundee Rugby Club Strategy 3 of 6

3. Governance

Moving forward as Dundee Rugby Club we are keen that all the good practices and ways of working in the past are retained. To achieve this each section has devolved powers to run their teams, committees, and operations as they wish, including keeping their own bank account.

The general committee, as it is called, oversees the whole club and is there to drive the club strategy and support individual sections where and when needed. The general committee is the mechanism to coordinate common work and projects across sections and the whole club. This includes things such as facility developments, grant funding applications, officer recruitment, policy development, IT infrastructure, and more.

An overview of the new governance structure can be seen in the attached document. This is still evolving and we are continuing to listen to all sections and take steps to further improve on this in the months ahead.
