The Club hosted its annual 6 Nations Lunch before Saturday's Calcutta Cup match. This was the 18th consecutive year of this ever-popular event, held at the Royal Scots Club in Edinburgh.
The guest speaker was Nigel ('Ollie') Redman of Bath, England and the British Lions, who recounted a number of hugely entertaining stories of his life in rugby to a rapt audience of around 120 attendees. After a rousing opening welcome by President David Nicoll, the event was MC'd by Tom Dymock with his usual flair and a fine lunch was followed by a very successful auction along with some other fundraising items. Thanks go to all the enthusiastic bidders! Most of the guests were then transported by bus to Murrayfield, where, needless to say, the day was made extra special - for most of us!
As well as the above-named, thanks must go to our lunch sponsors Drumnor Investments, our speaker sponsors Lost Shore Surf Resort and our Red/Blue Quiz sponsors Grand Prix Adventures.
