Club Ticket Access Reminder
Clubs are reminded of recent changes to the club ticket access process, which are now in effect. These changes will impact how tickets for international matches are requested, allocated and managed by club contacts.
As part of a wider review of all ticket sales for Scottish Rugby events, updates have been introduced to streamline the system and ensure access is aligned with clubs and organisations that are actively supporting the growth and development of the game.
The same number of tickets will be available for clubs to buy, however, ticket limits are set per member not per club this time.
All club secretaries and ticket contacts are encouraged to review the updated guidance in full to ensure they are familiar with the new process.
SCRUMS Annual Validation
At the end of every playing season, all active SCRUMS users are sent an Annual Validation email.
This is to help us ensure that the information held in SCRUMS is correct. The email contains a Unique User Link that presents users with their current Club / School Links and asks them to confirm that everything is correct, or delete any links that are no longer correct.
Key Points to Note
New in SCRUMS - 'Family Link' Option
This summer we are introducing a new ‘Family Link’ option in SCRUMS which will allow parents and guardians to log into their own account and easily manage their children’s accounts in the same place. We will be contacting all parents over the summer with further information about this new feature.
So that we do not contact parents of players that are no longer active, about either the Family Link or the Annual Validation, please ensure that any inactive players have been deleted from your club / school SCRUMS record.
Please contact scrums@sru.org.uk with any questions.
