Crucial day in the fight for survival

Dundee Rugby and Kirkcaldy know that wins tomorrow would see them staying in National One and National Two respectively for 2024-25.
Both clubs have had up and down seasons league-wise, but positive results this weekend would see them steer away from any relegation worries.
Even with defeats, results elsewhere could also see them both staying up, but with games running out they will want to make sure of safety themselves.
Ninth-placed Dundee are hosting fourth placed GHA in National One.
In late January and early February, Dundee got brilliant bonus-point wins on the road at Melrose and at home to Gala and, after a week off, they will look to pick up where they left things.
“Points-wise we know the situation and the recent wins have left us in a good place, but we are only after the win against GHA,” said Dundee head coach Alan Brown, whose side are eight points clear of bottom team GHK.
“For this game we keep the same squad from Gala apart from Finlay Overend who is suspended and Tommy Armstrong who is away home to Ireland this weekend.
“We are confident in our squad after the last two games and having long-term injured player Max Raitt back has added considerable bulk to our pack of late.
“In the backs, Callum O’Hagan was very good against Gala. He showed a cool head and managed a great interception and we are keen to see more of him.”
Before the match, Dundee will be remembering former club president Gerry Tosh who died earlier this week.
