The U15s welcomed Falkirk to Alloway Place for their opening pre-season fixture of the 25/26 campaign. The sun was shining and and the large crowd were entertained with 12 tries shared between the teams in an entertaining and competitve fixture.
Dundee started strongly and opened their account for the year after just two minutes with debutant Matthew Tyler touching down after some good work at the breakdown from the forwards, converted by Euan Meikle. The home side continued to dominate territory in the first half, with the forwards providing a solid platform for the backs to shine with a further four tries being scored before the interval through Greyson Geddes (2), Cohen Strachan and Ethan Robson.

HT: 33-0

Dundee, now playing up the hill, started the second half in the same vein as the first, taking just two minutes to add another score through Cohen Strachan after some lovely quick hands that seen him set clear on the wing. The forwards of both teams continued to competitvely contest almost every breakdown, and full credit to both sets of forwards for their efforts in very warm conditions. Dundee were clinical when the opportunity presented itself and went over a further four times through Greyson (3) and Jamie Brill, with Falkirk going over twice for very well deserved scores.

"I'm delighted with the lads performance today in really warm conditions. This was our first run out of the year but the fitness levels and skills on show were really encouraging, dominating up front and when the opportunity presented itself we were clinical out wide. This was a great test for us and credit must go to Falkirk for their performance, they battled away excellently up front and deservedly got their second half scores.
Special mention to debutants: Kendal Thomson, Rory Morrison, Matthew Tyler and Hamish Mcaree who were all excellent and slotted in extremely well."
