Many thanks to Dunbar U16 Girls for making the trip north for a competitive and enjoyable friendly.

The Dundee girls started brightly, dominating territory and possession throughout the game and scoring a range of tries. Dunbar showed great commitment in defence and stuck at it for the full game, growing into the contest in the second half.

“The girls were excellent today, both in attack and defence. You can really see the development of the team over the first few weeks, building well on the visit from Lochaber last week. The parts of the game we have been working on are starting to come together, and we’re looking forward to our first league game of the season next week away at Highland.”
