2. A New Approach to Volunteering

Our approach to volunteering at Dundee Rugby Club is about creating positive volunteering experience. Volunteering should not just help the club; it should also help the volunteer.

As a volunteer at Dundee Rugby Club, we want you to take on a role that ticks your boxes. Maybe you want to:

  • Develop your confidence
  • Gain valuable work experience
  • Learn new skills
  • Make a difference to children, people, or your community
  • Make new friends
  • Or simply have fun

The commitment is on your terms. As a volunteer, you decide on the role that you can commit to. Whether you want a weekly commitment for the season or to simply help at a one-off event you can choose. You may prefer to work from home at a time that suits you rather than a weekly commitment at the club. Whatever you want we have a wide range of opportunities for you

Just like paid roles, as a volunteer, you need support to get started. At Dundee Rugby Club we support you with training, mentoring, and other support as required. This ensures you develop new skills and always have someone to turn to for support.

Just as teams and players get recognised for their success on the pitch, we are about to start recognising the success of our volunteers. The effort, impact, and results from our volunteers deliver are outstanding on the pitch, in the boardroom, kitchen, website, clubhouse, and more.

If you would like to volunteer at Dundee Rugby Club, please contact our Volunteer Manager today so we can find you the perfect role to meet your needs.
